A Baby Shower for Mom and Dad?

With fathers taking a stronger role than ever in the nurturing of their children, a couple's shower is fast becoming a commonplace occurrence. Another reason is more and more women are returned to the workforce and more men are choosing to stay at home and be the primary care giver, with both parents sharing the burden of housework and other daily chores as equally as possible. Therefore, the traditional baby shower that was traditionally a "female only" event has been expanded to include both parents.

The same games are still played at the baby showers, however in a couple's shower you can up the ante and pit the men against the women or have parents versus non-parents. Shower favors are also given out at a couple's shower, just like a traditional shower.
